Pilsner Urquell, 2021

I purchased this brand yesterday at a Sobey’s supermarket outlet in Toronto.

It tastes as good as ever, and this particular batch seems extra-good for some reason with deep barley flavours, flowery, herbal aromas, and a fairly pronounced bitterness.

    • As you know Ed there is a historical basis to link early pale lager to British malting and pale ale. The most authentic examples of such lager existing today make such connection manifest, I think. Hence perhaps your regard for the beer.
